Hello everyone,
As some of you know, 2020 marks the bank’s 100th anniversary. We are only halfway through the year, and it’s already been a year we will never forget. As we worked together as a community and country to stop the spread of COVID-19, we closed our doors to the public and had some staff working from home while others came in, keeping their distance from those around them.
We appreciate all of our staff, those in the office and out, who helped keep the bank running during this extraordinary time. We also want to thank you, our customers, for your patience and understanding as we navigated this “new normal.”
After several weeks of drive-through and appointment only visits, we are thrilled to announce that on July 6th, 2020 – exactly 100 years after opening our doors for the very first time – we will once again open our doors to the public!
When you do stop in to say hi or do business, you’ll notice we have some additions to the bank branches to adhere to the Executive Orders from our Governor:
- We have placed plexiglass dividers up on the teller lines and open desks
- For those who would like to wear masks, we will have masks available
- There are decals on the lobby floors indicating a safe social distance from one customer to the next, please use these when waiting in line
We are so grateful to our community for your support and understanding during this time. We are looking forward to opening up again and continuing to celebrate our Centennial Year. If you have any questions about our new procedures please feel free to reach out to any of us here at Farmers & Stockmens Bank.
All the best,
Larry Fluhman
President, Farmers & Stockmens Bank
