Randolph-Brooks began operations as a licensed credit union in the South-Central Texas region in 1952. It has been shown to be a reliable financial organization with assets of over $6 billion. In September 1952, RBFCU opened its doors with nine members and $45 in deposits. The Bureau of Federal Credit Unions authorized the charter on October 6, 1952.
